hiiiiiiii... yes i owe everyone an update... this blog is just sad... i'm just too lazy! don't blame me! busy too.. seriously.. just finished a crazy load of midterms.. but it's definitely not time to slack.. SO much to catch up on after bunking and all... but i'm sure nobody wants to hear about studies.. so lemme talk about the (long overdue) ARR SHOW!!! details arent fresh in my head so i've forgotten some stuff.. and teenu's blaring Indiana jones in the hall so i cant hear myself think.

anyway,

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHH IT WAS SO NICE :) :) :) :) :) sooooo nice... i loved the whole concert! k so it was supposed to start at 6.30. note the usage of the word "suppose"... since we knew it wouldnt start at 6.30, me, neela and charanya (R) met up! and we were gushing of course.. aaah.. soon some female host came on stage.. and started blabbing about vasantham star.. then ilamaran joined her in the blabbing.. and they were majorly blabbing from 7 to 7.30 talking about the stars and interviewing them and everything.. NOT what we were there for! so imagine, all those times the hosts were like "do u want more??" there was a resounding "NOOOO!!!" from the audience! SO MUCH JEERING! felt kinda sorry for the vasantham star peeps.. but seriously, they shouldnt have been eating into our ARR time by talking about how nervous they were! anw, hope they did well.. (the stars i mean.. never watched the finals)

ok. all that was PRE-ARR. soon AAAAAAH HE CAME!!!!!! FIRST SONG WAS FANAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHH!!!!!!!! I WAS SO HIGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (i shall henceforth remove the CAPS lock but just remember that i was still hiiiiiiiiiiighhhhhh) so yes, yakkai thiri was first.. hindi version... no one danced! i think it was too early for pple to get energized..

i can't remember ALL the songs! k lemme see.. soon KARTHIK came with naresh and another guy and sang O HUMDUM SUNIYO RE from saathiya ( ie endrendrum punnagai) and they were majorly cutely nodding their heads to the beat.. and blaaze came and rapped!!! teenu was mainly awestruck by blaaze and sivamani.. and me by karthik and ARR :) oh i was sitting with teenu, aniruddh, ochie, rachu, neeti, aditi, divya, anu.. (did i miss out anyone?) it was so fun! everytime karthik came on stage, the binoculars we brought were in high demand :) and we were all singing to practically every song coz we knew both tamil AND hindi! in fact i knew all the songs except the 2 from mangal pandey (which i'd have known had i listened to rachu that afternoon!)

so other songs.. hmm.. varugirai.. OH HARIHARAN. he sang SOOOOO WELL!!!!! there was yuhi chala chal, vennilave, mitwa.. udit narayan too! and sadhna sargam and chitra!!!!! then ale ale (for which me and amma gave each other a look across 4 rows coz adithiya used to listen to it EVERYDAY like a mantra when he was in s'pore!).. and GIRLFRIEND (aaaah)! secret of success, chaiyya chaiyya, jiya jale, nila kaaygiradhu, malarodu malar (flute piece by naveen), taal se taal mila, chupke se, uyire uyire (bombay), HAMMA HAMMA! SOOOO many pple got up and danced to that one! blaaze did some awesome rapping and got everyone involved! so funnnnn.. ok i cant remember anymore.. pls tell remind me guys.. and the ending was azaadi followed by vande mataram when everyone got up and waved their hands with mobile phone-light as a light-stick-look-alike.. very nice.. and i was so sad.. coz rachu told me before hand (after chithi's extensive research) that vande mataram was gonna be the last song.. so ya.. that's how it ended..

it was excellent.. i can't wait for another concert like that! will def def def def go! ARR ROCKS. totally. k, other stuff...

HAPPY BIRTHDAY NEELA AND PRISKA AND VIDHUUUU!!!! (on 2nd, 9th and 14th october respectively).. well studies-wise, i'm MAJORLYYY gonna start mugging.. i've been saying that right from the start of year1 but i think i'm finally sticking to my plan.. have to get a good CAP and go for exchange programme!! that's my short-term goal for now.. oh and i read 5 point someone.. hilarious book! by chetan bhagat.. and now i'm reading "True Believer" by nicholas sparks.. and i'm gonna start doing sudoku again.. i've got sooo many plans but just too lazy.. so if i don't blog for a loooong time, u all know why.. laziness :p
