i am so irritated. since appa's gone to india and is STILL not back, we decided to go to pizza hut for dinner.. amma, teenu, me.. and we're talking 5 minutes away kind of pizza hut joint.. ok actually we decided Pasta Fresca Da Salvatore but walked for 15 min and realised tt it was way too far to walk to.. so walked back another 15 min to pizza hut and reached at 9.30. place was closing at 10.. so we hurried and bought food from the highly bored waitress and ate super fast.. and just as amma and teenu finished and i was finishing (i'm usually not THAT slow), it started to POUR. and the lightning and thunder - unbelievable.. each strike of lightning came within 2 seconds of the other! it was FREAKY, honestly. extreeeemely loud thunder. sigh. waited there from TEN PM TO TEN FIFTY PM!!!!! WHAT A WASTE OF TIME!!!!!!!!! HMPH HMPH HMPH! coz it was impossible to go home! no car, no bus pass, too far from road to catch cab.. i was SO bored.. so were amma n teenu of course.. and teenu's mood was foul (what's new).. and these guys were smoking all around us so when we moved further down, we got the TERRIFIC naatham of fish or some gross seafood. so. stuck. there. STRANDED. i ended up going into some HSBC or OCBC passbook updating kutti room and was doodling on their pamphlets. finally, we got super lucky when some cab came into the carpark area.. that bloke actually was gg towards the airport.. and when amma told us our EXTREMELY FAR venue, he gave this incredulous look. but took pity on us nonetheless. so we ended up taking a CAB and paying THREE BUCKS to go to a place 5 min away. i am so irritated.
